Coats For Kids Banner

Msgr. Gerein Council 9859 Donated Coats for Kids

On Friday, November 14, Msgr. Gerein Council 9859 delivered 24 coats (12 for girls and 12 for boys) to St. Augustine Community School in Regina as part of the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program. Our Council supports this youth community initiative annually by purchasing winter coats for children in need within our community.

A special presentation of the coats was made to three Grade 5 students from St. Augustine School by our Council’s Trustees, Len Jelinski and Wayne Rutten (see photo below). Gerard Woynarski, F.S., also attended the presentation.

We extend a special thank you to Principal Rolande Brandt-Mahar of St. Augustine School, who assisted in arranging this opportunity for our Council.

Father Gilpin Council #9760 Donated Coats for Kids

On November 23, Worthy Recorder Al Thiessen successfully organized the annual Coats for Kids initiative on behalf of Father Gilpin Council #9760 at the Church of Our Lady in Moose Jaw. This charitable program aims to provide warm winter coats to children in need within our community, ensuring they stay comfortable and protected during the cold season. Thanks to the dedication of Al Thiessen and the support of council members and parishioners, many local families will benefit from this generous effort.
