The donation will assist the Humboldt Soup Kitchen in continuing its vital work of offering warm meals and a welcoming environment to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the community. Shellbrook, SK — May 23, 2025 — On behalf of the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation, Grand Knight Al Dion of Council 9761 proudly presents a total of $3,000.00 to the Shellbrook and District Ministerial Food Bank.

These donations were gratefully accepted by Managing Director Linda Lundy, who expressed sincere appreciation for the generous contribution. “These funds will be well spent on purchasing essential food items for individuals and families in need throughout Shellbrook and the surrounding area,” said Lundy. This initiative reflects the Knights of Columbus’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and addressing food insecurity through charitable action.
