Coats for Kids

Larry Packet presented a cheque for $1140.00 to the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation on behalf of his wife, Judi Packet. The funds were raised from ticket sales of the “Supreme Convention Handcrafted Quilt” she made for the Supreme Convention in Quebec this August. The proceeds will support the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program. In the photo, Judi Packet is seen presenting the quilt to the draw winner, Cynthia Boehm from North Dakota. Larry Packet is shown presenting the cheque to Foundation President Harvey Granatier and Coats for Kids Chair Shawn Scherr.

The Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation is hosting a Coats for Kids Fundraiser Cabaret. This event supports their Coats for Kids program, which provides warm winter coats to needy children across Saskatchewan. The initiative has been highly successful, distributing thousands of coats annually to children, including those from immigrant and First Nations communities.
