2026 Cash Calendar Cover

Sask K of C Cash Calendar Project

Our cash calendar project has been a great success again this year.  Thanks to the partnership with Councill, we anticipate selling out all 5,000 calendars by the end of November.  You may contact Dan Devers at 306 789 8967 if your Council wishes to pick up more calendars.

The proceeds from calendar sales are essential to our Foundation’s continued ability to offer financial support through our Grants program.  We want to thank all Councils that participated this year.

Next Steps

  • Councils must complete the sales of all calendars in their possession.  The Council will purchase any remaining inventory and fill in the stubs accordingly.  There will be no refunds or returns of calendars
  • All stubs and payments ($40.00 x number of calendars) must be sent by December 15th, 2025.  Cheques are payable to the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation.
  • All draws for the year will be made on January 1st, 2026, so the stubs must be sent on time.
  • Early in the new year, an email will be sent to all participating Councils confirming the allocation of their share of the proceeds ($10.00/calendar or $25.00/calendar).  This can be shared between one, two or three Charities.  Minimum cheque will be $250.00.
  • If the recipient is an organization other than your Parish, you will be asked to provide the Charity number to meet SLGA requirements.
  • Cheques payable to the Charity will be mailed directly to the Councils.  The Council will be responsible for making the presentations to the Charity(s) they have identified.
  • Further questions can be directed to Dan Devers, 306 789 8967, Larry Packet, 306 567 3180, or Gerry Gieni, 306 631 1610.

Archbishop O’Neill Council #8896 Supports Coats for Kids Program

Archbishop O’Neill Council #8896 Donated Coats for Kids

Archbishop O’Neill Council #8896 Supports Coats for Kids Program

Archbishop O’Neill Council #8896 is proud to continue its support for the Coats for Kids program, a vital initiative that helps ensure children stay warm during the winter months.

Through a group purchase organized by the Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation, the council has provided two boxes of brand-new winter coats—12 for boys and 12 for girls. These coats were delivered to St. Catherine Community School on November 6.

Cassie Dodd, School Support Specialist for St. Catherine and St. Theresa Schools, will oversee the distribution of the coats to students in need. Not only do these coats offer high-quality protection from the cold, but they also look fantastic!

This year marks a significant milestone for the Coats for Kids program: the 1 millionth coat has been distributed since the program began in 2009. Archbishop O’Neill Council #8896 is honoured to contribute to this meaningful cause and help make a difference in the lives of children in our community.

Updates for November 7, 2025

  1. Sask K of C Charitable Foundation Cash Calendar – NEAR SELL-OUT
  • Distribution of the 2026 Sask K of C Charitable Foundation Cash Calendar is proceeding very well.  There were only 5000 calendars printed, and there are fewer than 200 remaining.
  • We distributed over 200 calendars this past week, so we strongly recommend any Council that wishes to get additional calendars to meet their target call Dan Devers, Larry Packet or Gerry Gieni this weekend.
  • We are also asking Councils to mail their filled-in stubs together with a cheque in groups of 25 to Gerry Gieni at the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation office in Moose Jaw.    There is always the threat of a mail strike before Christmas.
