Dear Individuals, Organizations, Business & Corporate Sponsors

For over 80 years now, the carol festival has supported local charities with much-needed financial aid. This year, the event will take place over two evenings on Monday, Nov 24th and Tuesday, Nov 25th, from 7-9 pm at the Knox Metropolitan United Church in Regina, hosted by the Knights of Columbus Regina Chapter. We have partnered with Access Communications to air this live on Access Now TV and the Access Now App.

Approximately 20 choirs will be performing to help raise not only our community spirit and foster goodwill towards all individuals, but also assist in raising much-needed funds to help our community charities. This year we are financially supporting the Chili for Children program that provides over 1,000 lunches daily to children, Carmichael outreach that supports individuals facing poverty and homelessness, Access communications Children’s Fund that supports children and youth at risk with support programs that focus on education, literacy, health and wellness, and the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids Program providing coats to children and youth.
We recognize that there are a lot of requests during this time of the year for your financial support, but we hope that you will consider us worthy of your financial support for these charities.

We have several levels of donation possibilities available for your consideration.

All donations of $20.00 or more will be eligible for a tax receipt.

Bronze Sponsor: You, as an individual, will have your name typecast on the TV screen both evenings during the telecast with a minimum donation of $100.00.

Silver Sponsor: You, as a charitable organization or church, will have your name typecast on the TV screen displayed repeatedly during the telecast on both nights with a minimum donation of $200.00.

Gold Sponsor: You, as a Business or Corporation, will have your business or corporate name and location typecast on the TV screen displayed repeatedly during the telecast on both nights with a minimum donation of $500.00.

Platinum Sponsor: You, as a Business or Corporation, will have your business or corporate name typecast on the TV screen displayed repeatedly during the telecast on both nights, as well as being allowed to present your donation live during the telecast and be acknowledged publicly with a minimum donation of $1,000.00.

For Silver, Gold or Platinum sponsorship, please advise of your intention before November 20, 2025, so that proper arrangements may be made to recognize you.

Online donations are already open at saskkofc.foundation, and click on the Carol Festival link. Donations can be made until December 31, 2025.

Carol festival details and donation instructions may be found on the attached promotional flyer.

2026 Cash Calendar Cover

Important Information about Sask K of C Cash Calendars

Our cash calendar project has been a great success again this year.  Thanks to the partnership with Councill, we anticipate selling out all 5,000 calendars by the end of November.  You may contact Dan Devers at 306 789 8967 if your Council wishes to pick up more calendars.

The proceeds from calendar sales are essential to our Foundation’s continued ability to offer financial support through our Grants program.  We want to thank all Councils that participated this year.

Next Steps

  • Councils must complete the sales of all calendars in their possession.  The Council will purchase any remaining inventory and fill in the stubs accordingly.  There will be no refunds or returns of calendars
  • All stubs and payments ($40.00 x number of calendars) must be sent by December 15th, 2025.  Cheques are payable to the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation.
  • All draws for the year will be made on January 1st, 2026, so the stubs must be sent on time.
  • Early in the new year, an email will be sent to all participating Councils confirming the allocation of their share of the proceeds ($10.00/calendar or $25.00/calendar).  This can be shared between one, two or three Charities.  Minimum cheque will be $250.00.
  • If the recipient is an organization other than your Parish, you will be asked to provide the Charity number to meet SLGA requirements.
  • Cheques payable to the Charity will be mailed directly to the Councils.  The Council will be responsible for making the presentations to the Charity(s) they have identified.
  • Further questions can be directed to Dan Devers, 306 789 8967, Larry Packet, 306 567 3180, or Gerry Gieni, 306 631 1610.
