Presentation to Soup Kitchen

A special presentation was recently made to the Humboldt Soup Kitchen by Grand Knight Vince Leonard of Council 1886 Humboldt, accompanied by Brad Lefebvre, Past Secretary of the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation. This meaningful gesture reflects the Knights of Columbus’ ongoing commitment to support local initiatives that provide essential services to those in need. The donation will assist the Humboldt Soup Kitchen in continuing its vital work of offering warm meals and a welcoming environment to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the community. The Knights are proud to stand alongside organizations like the Soup Kitchen, whose compassion and dedication make a lasting impact on the lives of many.

Chairs Purchased for Santa Maria Foundation in Regina

Velma Harasen, a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for the Santa Maria Foundation in Regina, is pictured standing proudly beside one of the Broda chairs that were previously purchased thanks to a generous donation from the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation. These specialized chairs have significantly enhanced the comfort and quality of life for residents at Santa Maria. In her hands, Velma holds a cheque representing this year’s contribution from the Foundation. This latest donation will go toward the purchase of much-needed new beds, further supporting the Foundation’s ongoing mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care for its residents. The Santa Maria Foundation is deeply grateful for the continued support and partnership of the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation, whose generosity plays a vital role in improving the lives of those in their care.

Donation to Ministerial Food Bank

Shellbrook, SK — May 23, 2025 — On behalf of the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation, Grand Knight Al Dion of Council 9761 proudly presents a total of $3,000.00 to the Shellbrook and District Ministerial Food Bank.

These donations were gratefully accepted by Managing Director Linda Lundy, who expressed sincere appreciation for the generous contribution. “These funds will be well spent on purchasing essential food items for individuals and families in need throughout Shellbrook and the surrounding area,” said Lundy. This initiative reflects the Knights of Columbus’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and addressing food insecurity through charitable action.

Please refer to the 2026 Cash Calendar Sales file provided below. This document outlines the current status of calendar sales and inventory as of May 21, 2025. It details the distribution of 3,025 calendars and identifies the locations of the remaining 1,975 units.

Councils that are highlighted in the file have successfully met their sales targets and are therefore eligible to allocate $25.00 per calendar sold to a charity of their choice, subject to approval.
