The Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre, also known as The Empty Stocking Fund Inc., is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty in the Battlefords region. Since its founding in the 1950s, the Centre has grown into a vital community hub, offering a wide range of programs including emergency food hampers, school nutrition initiatives, clothing drives, and support services for individuals and families in need.
This contribution was made possible through the James and Lawrence Meier Food For Families Fund, which is dedicated to supporting food banks across Saskatchewan in their efforts to combat food insecurity.
