Sask K of C Charitable Foundation University & College Bursaries

It’s that time of year when students across Saskatchewan are enrolling in post-secondary institutions.
The Sask K of C Charitable Foundation is proud to offer bursaries to eligible students attending many of our province’s universities and colleges.

To qualify, students must be enrolled in one of the institutions listed below. Additionally, the student must be a Knight of Columbus, or have a father and/or grandfather who is a member of the Knights of Columbus in Saskatchewan.

In partnership with the Adrienne & Mervyn Welter Education Endowment, we offer three bursaries of $1,000 each to students enrolled at the following Catholic universities:

  • Campion College, Regina
  • St. Peter’s College, Muenster
  • St. Thomas More College, Saskatoon

Additionally, the Sask K of C Charitable Foundation offers one $1,000 bursary to a student enrolled at one of the following institutions:

  • St. Therese College, Bruno
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Moose Jaw
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Prince Albert
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Regina
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Saskatoon

Each bursary program is managed and administered directly through the respective university or college. Application forms can be found on each individual’s website.

Our role in the approval process is solely to confirm that the student, their father, or grandfather is a Knight of Columbus. Once confirmed, we are notified of the successful applicant, and the funds are forwarded to the institution for presentation on our behalf.

We strongly encourage each Council to inform its members about these bursaries. In recent years, we’ve had instances where an insufficient number of applications were received to award all available bursaries. This is unfortunate and may be due to a lack of awareness among our membership.

If your student encounters any issues with the application process, please get in touch with our office. We will do our best to assist you.
