Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation & Sask State Council are asking that all Saskatchewan Councils & members consider partnering with Weyburn K of C Council 1731 in offering financial support to the widow and family of Cole Crooks, a deceased member of Weyburn Council.
Cole passed away because of a SaskPower site accident. His funeral service was held at St. Radegonde R. C. Parish in Lafleche on Saturday October 17th, 2020.
Cole joined the Knights of Columbus in March 2014. He lost his father, Mark, four years ago and his mother is currently challenged with breast cancer. Cole and his wife, Tristen, lived on a farm site just outside the city of Weyburn where they raised cattle and sheep. Tristen remains on the farm with their four young children, Clare (9), Blaze (3), Ivan (2), and Saint (six months). Cole is the nephew of State Secretary Larry Packet.

Donations will be accepted until December 15th, 2020. There will be no tax receipts issued, however, all donor’s names will be included in the card that will be presented to Tristen by Council 1731 on December 15th – just before Christmas.
