Hello, to whomever it may concern,
First of all, thank you. Thank you very much. At the time when I made my application, I was so worried for my future. Even after I had submitted my application, the nursing department had to inform me that I had a financial hold on my account. To be truthful, I did not cope well. I stressed greatly about needing some help to get me through the fall term, and then I could handle the remaining amount after the winter term was over. When I saw that I was selected for the Knights of Columbus award, I was not only ecstatic but just relieved. It felt like a great weight off my shoulders was lifted from my chest.
Second, I want to say that I will really cherish this scholarship. I will not disrespect anyone by dropping out or even failing a class. I have the fullest intention of not only completing my nursing program but to do so to the best of my ability every week. Again, thank you for allowing me to not only continue my education but also to take the next step with my dream job.
Sincerely,
Dave Cruz

I would like to start by saying how much I appreciate being awarded this bursary. I was beginning to wonder how I would be able to pay for gas, groceries and many other things. once I seen I was awarded the bursary I was overjoyed. being in post secondary has been difficult but at the same time rewarding,
I’m learning new things that will help me in my future career. After I’m done my first year of justice studies I’m planning on moving to Saskatoon, SK to attend the 2nd year of schooling for the justice studies course. the 2nd year is called “aboriginal policing” which I’m very excited for. The 2nd year will be based mainly on the duties of policing which will help me better understand the duties of a police officer. thank you again for awarding me this bursary it will help me a lot.

Hello, my name is Taylor Mudrik. I am the recipient of the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation Award. I am currently enrolled in the Medical Radiologic Technology program at Sask Polytech in Saskatoon, SK. My grandfather Alex, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Melfort Sector for many years until his passing in 2008. I want to thank the donors for this generous award. I have been working in healthcare for about five and a half years now, providing care to Saskatchewan residents as a Continuing Care Assistant and as a Licensed Practical Nurse. My goal has always been to become an MRT and to work in Saskatchewan. I am getting closer to achieving this goal every day. I live in Humboldt SK, and hope to work at the Humboldt District Health Complex. This award will help to alleviate financial pressures that come with post secondary education, such as tuition and the purchase of textbooks. Again, I cannot thank you enough for your support and thoughtfulness for Saskatchewan
students like me.
