State Deputy Larry Packet, Incoming State Deputy Marte Clemente Nogot and Sask K of C Charitable Foundation President Harvey Granatier were invited to meet with the Bishops of Saskatchewan at the Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon on Monday, April 29th, 2024. Unfortunately, Marte Clemente Nogot was unable to attend.
In our meeting, all Bishops expressed their appreciation for the personnel and financial support offered by the Knights of Columbus throughout the province. They supported continued recruitment and encouraged young men to join our Order.
They also were supportive of our K of C Cash Calendar project and offered a willingness to encourage each Parish, through their priest, to promote and support the sale of calendars to their Parishioners.
We emphasized our appreciation for the valued relationship that the Knights of Columbus currently experience with our Bishops and clergy throughout our province. We recognize the value of this relationship and will work to ensure that it is nurtured and maintained in the future.
It was a very positive and encouraging meeting
