The Sask K of C Charitable Foundation would appreciate your consideration in providing financial assistance to a Brother Knight.
Our Bro. Sir Knight Yves Descottes of Langevin Council # 4280 experienced a disastrous event on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. During a storm with very high winds, a section of the roof of his house in Craven was destroyed. The rain afterward caused significant damage to the interior of his house: drywall, insulation, carpets, furniture. The photos above provide some indication of the extent of the damage. Unfortunately, there is no insurance coverage to assist in covering the damages which are estimated to exceed $ 50,000.
St. Jean Baptiste Parish in Regina has developed an account to accept funding for Yves & Nicole. The Parish will be allocated all funds to contractors and suppliers during the home restoration. There will be no tax receipts issued.
Donations can be made directly to the Parish by sending a cheque to:
St Jean Baptiste Parish

Please address the cheque to the parish and indicate on your cheque
“Relief fund – Yves and Nicole”
Sask K of C Charitable Foundation will be making a donation to the St John Baptiste Parish and we ask all Councils and members to join us in assisting Yves & Nicole during their time of need.
Charity is a value that we should all exemplify as Brother Knights.
The following were remembered through a Memorial donation:
We ask you to keep them and their families in your prayers.
COATS FOR KIDS
It is nearing the end of August and Councils should be purchasing coats for distribution to those in need.
The Sask K of C Charitable Foundation currently has a number of boxes of coats available in Saskatoon. These coats were purchased through a special pricing consideration from Supreme. Therefore, we are able to provide 1 box of 12 coats for $200.00 while supplies last.

Sask K of C Charitable Foundation has purchased a group of wheelchairs for sale to Councils within the province. These wheelchairs have the K of C logo imprinted within the fabric of the chair. Many Councils have already purchased wheelchairs for their church or other gathering places within their community.
